AutoSend ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our app collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our services.
1. Information We Collect
AutoSend is designed with privacy in mind.
- Scheduled Messages: All scheduled messages (including text content, contacts, and times) are stored only on your device’s local storage.
- No Cloud Storage: We do not upload, store, or sync your scheduled messages on our servers.
- No Account Required: AutoSend does not require you to create an account or provide personal details to use the app.
2. Google Drive Data (Sensitive Scope Disclosure)
AutoSend offers an optional feature to back up your data to your personal Google Drive. To provide this feature, the app requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope.
How We Access Your Data:
- Per-File Access Only: We only access files that AutoSend itself has created. We cannot see, read, or modify your other personal files, photos, or documents in your Google Drive.
- No Human Access: No human (including our developers) can read your Google Drive data. The process is entirely automated by the app code on your device.
How We Use Your Data:
- The permission is used strictly to upload a backup of your local database to a specific folder and download it when you request a restore.
- We do not analyze, scan, or scrape your content for any purpose other than the stated backup utility.
3. Data Storage and Security
All your scheduled messages are stored in a secure, local database on your device.
- Local Storage: Your data never leaves your phone unless you initiate a backup.
- Cloud Storage: If you use the Backup feature, your data is transferred directly from your device to Google's servers using secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS). We do not store a copy of your data on any intermediate servers.
4. Limited Use Disclosure (Google API Services)
AutoSend's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically:
- No Transfer: We do not transfer your Google user data to third parties.
- No Advertising: We do not use your Google user data for serving advertisements, including re-targeting, personalised, or interest-based advertising.
- No Lending: We do not use your data for creditworthiness or lending purposes.
5. How We Use Permissions
AutoSend requires certain device permissions to function:
- Accessibility Service Permission: Used only to automate the process of selecting contacts and sending your scheduled WhatsApp messages. AutoSend does not collect, store, or share any data accessed through this service.
- Device Storage: Used to locally store your scheduled messages on your device.
We do not use these permissions for any other purpose.
6. Data Sharing
AutoSend does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Since data is stored locally on your device, only you have access to it.
7. Security
We prioritize your security:
- All data remains on your device.
- No external servers or cloud systems are involved.
- It is your responsibility to ensure your device remains secure and protected.
8. Third-Party Services
AutoSend is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta Platforms, Inc. WhatsApp is a registered trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
9. Children's Privacy
AutoSend is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
